2010-Where has the time gone?!

Well, here we are into June already!! Its crazy how fast this year is going by! Before I know it, Emma will be a year old! Just wanted to post a little update since I haven't in a while...Well, where to start, we are all doin' well. Nevaeh is currently in Kentucky with my sister on a little vacation. She is having a blast and is ready to move down there lol. Me, not so much, as much as I can't stand this place, this place is home.. I can't believe in a couple months she will be in the 2nd grade! Crazy! Desmond, he is doin' pretty good...He is doin' summer school 3 days a week and absolutely LOVES it! He is getting better at being more social and his anxiety seems to be calming down a lot more which is great cuz we are planning on putting him into Kindergarden this coming fall so hopefully he can get over some fears or at least tollerate them better. And as for actual school, he is doin' really well.. He is starting to get the hang of things pretty quickly. His therapy is also going good as well. He got a new therapist so hopefully he can get comfortable with her like he did the last therapist. Now Olivia, she has definantly hit the TERRIBLE TWOS!!!! She is ALWAYS into things, back talking, throwing fits, you name is. I do not remember the terrible twos being like this but its just another thing to overcome when being a parent! Even tho she is naughty most of the time, her giggles and smiles and sweet words are all worth goin' through these stressful times. And Emma, well as you know, she is CRAWLING!! Crawling everywhere. Room to room, getting lost, trying to go outside, what are we gonna do with her? lol She is pulling herself up and standing unassisted and she is also talking and babbling up a storm... I can't believe in 2 1/2 months our little baby is going to be a year old! I can't believe this past year has gone by as fast as it has! We have had many ups and downs but at the end of the day we are all happy, healthy(for the most part lol) and love eachother and that is all that matters. And as for Travis and I, well he works constantly.. The usual.. The money is nice, but him not being home when the kids wake up and not being home when the kids go to bed is hard but that's what life is all about I guess. Making sacrifises. I just thank god everyday that he is such a wonderful man that is willing to do whatever it takes for his family! And as for me, well, I take life day by day. I am still babysitting during the week so my 4 kids and Heather keep me very busy!

Update for the last few weeks!

Well, we have had quite the crazy last couple of weeks. Desmond had his spring concert as well as Nevaeh.. They all did an amazing job! I love watching all the faces they makes and what they do when they are supposed to be singing... Its too funny:) Nevaeh also had her dance recital the other night! I turned out so wonderful! Every one of them did such a wonderful job! She says she is doin' it again next year and her Dad would also like her to join Hip-Hop along with staying in Ballet..And also, the kids have been quite sick. Desmond had a reaction to one of the meds he is on and it caused little seizures:( He was rush to the ER and they gave him some meds to counteract his meds and it worked thank goodness! It was one of the scariest things I have saw in my life! I felt so bad not being able to do anything for him. But he is better now and I thank god for that! Nevaeh had the intestional flu, as well as myself... Flu in May?? I was a horrible couple of days..Other than that the kids and us have been great! Trying to deal with this changing weather as best as we can. WE ARE READY FOR HIGH TEMPS AND SUN!! Besudes that, we are all doin' good. Little fights, bumps and bruises along the way but what do you expect lol! Emma did get hurt pretty bad yesterday. Me not thinking, layed her on the reliner when she fell asleep and she either woke up and I didn't know it cuz I was making lunch or this happened while she was sleeping, but she rolled off the chair and cut her face from the top to bottom on the inside of her toybox lid:( I was a nervous reck! Thank goodness for my sister... She got her al cleaned up and bandaged up and took good care of her. Nothin too serious but serious enough! I am hoping as it heals there will be minimal to no scaring:( Poor little Emma!! Mommy is sorry!

Emma's 2nd tooth

Emma got her second tooth today! Its so exciting except she bites like crazy lol I just can't believe that she is going on 8 months and is almost crawling, she is sitting up all by herself, she is eating table foods and tons of baby food. She is talking and saying a few words! Its all happening so fast:( Beings she is probably our last, it makes me even more sad to see her grow up... But, with growing up comes great new things! Love you little miss Moo-Moo!!

Update on our family!

Well, I wish I would have known about this blogging website, I would have been updating it all along! Well, where to start. The kids are growing up so fast! Nevaeh, can you believe it 7 and in the 1st grade! She is doin' amazing in school, which doesn't surprise me! She has always loved learning! She is currently in ballet and also does amazing in that. She has always had a love for dancing and singing. She has a recitel coming up soon which we are so excited about! She is still the light of my life(not that the other kids aren't, cuz they definantly are) She is such s great helper and she is such a wonderful person in general! She loves being a big sister and she helps out so much! She used to get annoyed when I asked her to help with simple things such as grabbing a pacifier for Emma or helping the other kids with something but one day she came to me and said, "Mom, it has to be hard raising 4 kids so I have decided to be a better help" Ever since then she has been amazing with helping out with the other kids! And Desmond, where to begin with him. He is our little trouble maker of the bunch, well not the only one, as Olivia is right there with him lol He is ALL BOY! But he is also such a sensative and caring boy. He started pre-school a while ago and since starting, they are so impressed by how fast and how far he has came! At first we were deciding on holding him back and sending him to kindergarden not this coming fall but the next, but in the last month, he has shocked us all! Learning he is doin' great at but still having a lot of trouble with noises and large crowds. He has taken to a little girl at school by the name of Alyssa and she has helped him not be so scared to be around people and be scared of noises that wouldn't bother others.. But that will never go away so we are just trying to find ways to cope with it... He had his first concert last week and he did very well considering the problems he has.. Only thing, be picked his nose most of the time! haha Goofy kid! So, I am hoping that we can get him in Kindergarden this fall and it will go uphill from there! Now Olivia, that girl is a handful for sure! She is definantly 2! But she is so fun though. She also has a love for singing and dancing and she is VERY good at it! She LOVES Hanna Montana as well lol She also has a sensative side and she is a very caring person as well. She is learning more and more each day and it amazes me how quickly she is learning to put more sentences together. She is definantly our clown of the family lol She can light up a room and make anyone laugh at any time... I can but i can't waite for her to get older and see what kind of young girl she becomes..And as for her allergies, she is actually doing fairly well... She is still on a special formula which, thank goodness for insurance becuase it is the most expensive stuff out there!!! But her tolerence for normal table foods is getting better. She can to a day or two and eat whatever she wants and be fine, but then there are days, even weeks where she breaks out in horrible rashes and it comes straight out the bottom! So, we just kinda let her pick what she wants and she has learned what happens when she has things she cant have.. They said they usually outgrow it at 6 months, well she didn't.. So now they are saying if she doesn't outgrow it by 5, it is a lifelong allergy but we have learned to deal with it and if that is what God has handed us, that is fine by us. As long as she is healthy and happy, that's all that matters. And then there is Emma... She's our little fatty. Her and Olivia are in the same clothes and they are almost 19 months apart! We weighed them both a week ago and Emma was 1 pound bigger than Olivia lol She eats anything and everything, litterally! I know most people would say only baby food but beings this is our 4th, I have learned over the years what kids can and can't handle and if she can handle normal table foods, well were gonna give them to her! She is also getting big fast and learning like crazy! She is talking and trying to crawl:) She says Momma, Dada, baba, gaga and babbles on and on.. Its so exciting seeing how fast she is growing but its also sad becuase she isn't our little baby anymore:( She has one tooth and getting another. She has been rolling over and sitting up on her own for 3-4 months now! She learned very quickly! And as for Travis and I... He works like crazy and I just stay home with the kids.. We don't see eachother much but we have learned that is a part of life! We are both doin' well.. We are healthy and happy and that's all that matters! Well, I will keep updating this time to time to keep everyone informed!
